Hearts and Hands partnership

The senior outreach group is thrilled to announce a partnership with Hearts and Hands, an organization that helps elderly and disabled individuals maintain independence by way of volunteers who help with things like transportation and other supportive tasks. St. John is helping to bring these meaningful services to folks in Wheatfield and neighboring communities.

On Saturday, September 16, St. John will be hosting an informational breakfast from 10 to 11am.

Hearts and Hands will discuss their services and how to help. ALL are invited...maybe you want to learn more about how to utilize services or hear how you can easily serve. Please invite anyone who might need support from this partnership along with anyone who may be looking for an easy, non-threatening way to reach out with God's love.

On behalf of the senior outreach group, trust us, you won't want to miss this!

See you Saturday, September 16!

Food for the Poor

On Sunday, September 17, Pastor Gary Bauch, retired LCMS pastor currently living in Rochester, will be our guest preacher.  Pastor Bauch is a spokesperson of Food For The Poor, an international relief and development organization, providing housing, healthcare, education, fresh water, emergency relief and micro-enterprise assistance, in addition to feeding thousands of people each day in 17 countries of the Caribbean and Latin America.  Founded in 1982, the interdenominational Christian ministry serves the poorest of the poor. Pastor Bauch will share with us their ministry and how we can help support their ministry.
